Earl Mark Kaplan - Architect

Est.1983 - Fla. Lic.-9807

Overview and Philosophy

Prior to opening his own firm in Miami in 1983, Earl Mark Kaplan worked under the careful tutelage of nationally renowned Florida Architect Alfred Browning Parker, FAIA who was a protégé and friend of the late Frank Lloyd Wright. During the tenure with Parker, Kaplan had extensive experience with design and production of various Custom Residences, Religious Architecture, and Financial Institutions.

The Architectural firm of Earl Mark Kaplan, was formed with the intention of being a "Breed Apart" from the industry. We cater to the discerning client that appreciates high end design where fine detailing plays a significant role. Functional and aesthetically pleasing designs which respect the client's needs are essential to our firm's reputation and growth. Our design style varies and evolves through the combination of specific client programming, particulars of the site as well as the surrounding environment. We consider ourselves "sculptures of space" and provide design services which are custom tailored to suit the client’s needs rather than our own. Essentially, our firm has a full service attitude and prides itself in providing clients with more than just four walls and a roof.

Every client is unique, has different program requirements and deserves attention on a personal basis. We therefore take only a select amount of projects. With this in mind, we listen to and understand what our clients have to say and establish a special relationship that comprises trust, confidence and sincerity.

It is true that most firms want public exposure of their projects.  We however are not a firm that looks to the spotlight to inform others about our work.  Our goal is to have satisfied clients who will do that for us. This does not mean that we have not been recognized through accolades and by notable publications.  It is simple; we prefer to place our time, energy and labor with our clients.

We are proud that we have helped make a difference in the quality of people’s lives. It is their joy and appreciation that have nourished our desire to take on future challenges. We look forward to working together towards a common goal of excellence on your future projects. Let us do it right the first time!
